Brian elbowed his way to the brown locks. Nick hot on his heels. "Yo, whats up!" Brian said as she pulled Nolly into a hug, "Its been a long time girl." "Right, yeah. And you have the damn cheek to tell me about it. I missed you guys, man!" She chided lightly as she pulled away and hugged Nick. Nick hugged back affectionately, "C'mon, We're here aren't we?" Nolly nodded her head and introduced the blond headed male next to her, "This is my husband-to-be, Gilbert." "Hey," Brian and Nick shook his hand. "Your good fortune to have her." Brian grinned. "Indeed. But she can be a brat at times." He winked as Nolly smacked him. "Oh gosh! Watch where you're heading!" A sharp and familiar voice hit them as the strong smell of grape surrounded them. Finally, a frame covered with auburn curls appeared in view and a smile coming their way, "Ooh Leah, look who's here." Leah wormed her way through a final person and smiled as she reached her destination. Brian grinned, to say the least, he was glad that she was here. In less than a moment, she disappeared into Gilberts arms, "Damn Gil, good to see you." Rachel had a silly grin on her face when she and Leah made eye contact. Leah rolled her eyes, "And I brought my cheeky little roommate who is absolutely in love with you. Believe it or not, when I showed her your graduation picture, she was drooling." Gilbert and Nolly made eye contact. Leah laughed, "Dont worry, she's gotten over it, right Rach?" She nudged her. "Yeah." At that point, Rachel had enough of Gilbert since after all, he was a married man. Her next target aimed would be this blond-headed she didn't notice a few days ago. Gilbert hung his arm around Leah heavily, "Right, and that is my girl. Her name is Nolly." "Hey." Nolly smiled. "Hi.I've heard a lot about you." Leah smiled brightly and winked. "Yeah. Gil has never stopped talking about you." Nolly grinned, pleased that this girl, who was so often mentioned was so pleasant. "But we gotta talk a bit about your taste in men later on, when we have time." Nolly grinned, "Thanks, but I doubt it doesn't run in the family genes. I heard you're his cousin." "Indeed I am." "So, who is this dude who keeps on staring at Nick?" Gilbert teased. Leah turned around and noticed Nick and Brian, surprised, "Whoa, nice to see you again, I didn't notice you." "Yeah, you didn't but Rachel sure did." Brian chuckled as he saw that Nick was turning red from all the lovesick looks Rachel was throwing him. "Rach? Rach?" Leah waved her hand in front of her face, "RACH! We're LEAVING!" "What no! It's too early, besides we just arrived." She protested without taking her eyes of Nick. Leah grinned, "Well, you've been dreaming, two hours have passed." "it has? Oh okay." Rachel replied absently. The guys exchanged looks, "Care to look at me?" Leah asked. "I see enough of you for one day Leah." Leah snorted in response and the others laughed. "Look guys, me and Nolly are gonna dance. See you later?" Gilbert led his wife affectionately towards the dance floor. Grinning, Leah said, "They're just one of a kind." Brian laughed and nodded his head towards Nick. His face was as red as a tomato and he was trying his best not to squirm around. Rachel finally opened her mouth, "Hey Nick, I'm Rachel. Wanna dance?" Nick stuttered, "Uh no, I've gotta head to the bathroom, Brian, join me please?" Brian nodded as he pushed Nick away. Rachel frowned and leaned on the bar next to Leah, "What's his problem? It's his fortune to have ME so involved with him." "Oh yeah, he is SO lucky." Rachel looked at her with an eyebrow raised, "What's your problem, man?" "No problem, but I suggest you leave the poor boy alone. He's practically freaking out by your," She batted her eyelashes, "'sexy looks'." *Three Hours Later* Brian searched frantically for Leah. Finally he managed to get rid of all the fans he was forced to dance with the past hours. When he finally had his time alone, he needed to talk to Leah about the lyrics. He was stressed out about thinking how to approach Leah. He just wanted to get that over with. Nope, not here and neither she was there - where the hell did she go? Seeing Gilbert, he approached him immediately, "Hey man, you saw your cousin?" "Nope, haven't seen her, but I think she's outside at the beach." Gilbert waved his hand around as he spoke. He obviously had some to drink. "Beach? What beach?" "Don't you know? This pub is on a beach. Didn't you see just now?" Brian nodded absently, "Well, see you man." He hurried through the throng and exited the pub hurriedly. The wind brushed his cheeks as he quickened his pace to the waters. He caught eye of a figure, a small one. He approached it slowly. Instantly he recognized the shiny blond hair. Brian sighed in relief and plopped down next to her. Leah looked at him in surprise, "Whoa, what are you doing here?" He smiled, "Looking for Cinderella, looks like I found her." Leah blushed lightly, "It's past midnight, my coach has turned back into a pumpkin." He laughed, "I've got a real coach, how about I send you back later." "Absolutely, I have been waiting for that invitation all night." He tried his best not to stare. Her hair was messed up by the wind, but she looked awesome alright. Her blue eyes twinkled whenever she smiled. "So why have you been looking for Cinderella?" "Oh," He pulled out the paper he stuck in his back pocket. "This." He passed it to her. She scanned through it quickly. For a minute he thought she was going to cry when she smiled, "What do you think about this?" "Um," Brian fidgeted uneasily, he didn't dare say what he really thought of it, "Um, is this yours?" She chuckled, "Nope, this is Rachel's. She writes well, but she just you know doesn't know how to put it correctly. So I want your help in putting these lyrics and make it a gorgeous song." "Oh I see." He scanned the lyrics again. Indeed they were meaningful words. She smiled when he looked up,"Think of it nicer now?" Brian looked uneasy and glanced away, he blushed furiously when she was out of sight. She chuckled lightly, "I know what you thought it was a horrible piece but when it comes altogether, the words are like, Oh my god." He nodded, "That's it, I feel bad. C'mon," Brian stood up. "What? Where are we going?" "To my house, to edit this. I feel bad enough. Now get your ass moving."
